BROWN EYES QUALIFYING AFTER PRACTICE AT HOMEBUSH

Cars Galore driver Will Brown has completed practice and posted the 7th fastest time in P2, on day 1 of Round 7 of the CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship.

Earlier in the day Brown went 4th fastest on the demanding, wall lined street circuit.

Dream Motorsport's Thomas Randle has continued his quick form setting the quickest time in the closing practice session. The TRAVISTY driver posted the fastest time of 1:34.5054, three-tenths fastest than current Australian Formula 4 Champion Jordan Lloyd.

South Australian Frankie Maiolo posted the third quickest time, setting a personal best for the Team BRM driver.

Rookie racer Harry Hayek slotted into fourth with Luis Leeds only fractions of a second behind.

Famous Insurance’s Nick Rowe was sixth, Brown, Tom Grech, Zane Goddard and Jimmy Vernon rounding out the top ten.

Jayco Dealer Team’s Caitlin Wood was 11th, ahead of debutant Nick Filipetto.

The drivers will head out tomorrow morning for Qualifying at 8:45 (AEDT).
