BROWN HITS THE STREETS OF HOMEBUSH

Cars Galore driver Will Brown has hit the streets of Homebush in Sydney, finishing Practice 1 in 4th spot, during Round 7 of the CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship.

Brown remains as the year's highest rookie.

Thomas Randle posted the quickest lap time in the opening practice session.

Randle was followed closely by Nick Rowe in second, who rejoins the category for the final round.

Newly crowned champion Jordan Lloyd was third fastest.

IQ Option Racing’s Tom Grech was fifth, with Team BRM drivers Harry Hayek and Frankie Maiolo sixth and seventh.

Luis Leeds, Jimmy Vernon and Zane Goddard rounded out the top ten.

AGI Sport’s Nick Filipetto made his debut in the category, finishing 11th in the first session followed by the Jayco Dealer Team entry of Caitlin Wood.

The next practice session will head out at 11:35 (AEDT) at Homebush, with live coverage on Fox Sports 5.
