SUN 31 JULY, 2016 -

Staking his claim as one of the hottest prospects in Australian motor racing, Cars Galore driver Will Brown has dominated Round 3 of the Australian Formula Ford Championship Round at Ipswich Queensland Raceway.

18 year old Brown from Toowoomba, won Races 2 and 3 (of 3) of the Australian Formula Ford Championship Round at Ipswich Queensland Raceway today.

After also crossing the line in first place in Race 1 (of 3) yesterday, Will was handed a time penalty for a pace car restart infringement, meaning he was relegated to third place.

The 2 dominant victories and placings now see Will shoot up the Australian Formula Ford championships standings to be amongst the leaders, despite missing the entire first Round of the series, due to his commitments of also racing in the CAMS Jayco Australian F4 Championship.

No mean feat, he is currently leading the Australian Formula 4 championship series, after taking yet another victory, also at Ipswich Queensland Raceway, only last week, competing on the same day as the V8 Supercars Championship.

With 2 Rounds to go in the F4 series Will leads his nearest rival by 31 points.

Will is also competing in the Toyota 86 Series, where he achieved a podium result at the last Round against vastly more experienced former V8 Supercar drivers at Winton.

Will's next race outing will be in the Toyota series, this time at Sydney Motorsport Park, with more Formula 4 and Formula Ford Championship races to come later in the year.
