3 MORE WINS FOR WILL SECURES RUNNER UP IN FF CHAMPIONSHIP

Cars Galore driver Will Brown has gone tantalizingly close to claiming the 2016 Australian Formula Ford Series title by grabbing pole position and then winning all '3 from 3' races, during the final round of the championships held at the Phillip Island Circuit in Victoria.

Despite missing a complete round of the championship earlier in the year due to F4 commitments, by winning all 3 races over the Phillip Island weekend, Brown took out second place in the series, which adds to him already claiming the 2016 CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship title earlier this month on the streets of Surfers Paradise.

Cars Galore Formula Ford driver Will Brown has claimed pole position and Race 1 victory during the final round of the 2016 Australian Formula Ford championships at Phillip Island, from a 24 car field.

The win now puts Will within striking distance of claiming the Australian Formula Ford championship, over nearest rival Leanne Tander, who finished outside the podium.

If Brown manages to win the round this weekend, held at Australia's fastest race track, he will have claimed the 2016 championships in both the Australian Formula 4 and the Australian Formula Ford series.

Cars Galore driver WILL BROWN has shaken up the 2016 Australian Formula Ford Series by completely dominating round two at Sydney Motorsport Park, winning all 3 from 3 races.

Having missed the opening round at Sandown due to conflicting racing in F4 in Tasmania, Brown's clean sweep saw him claim maximum points to immediately jump to 4th place in the Australian Formula Ford Championships.
